Okay, maybe not. Last February I decided to try a series or book. So I downloaded the Kindle version and quickly read it. After seeing how incredibly practical the book is, I wanted to get it into the hands of every teenager in our ministry. I appreciate the solid content, and so did our small groups as they watched intently and leaned in to listen.
We talked about love the first week. Then we spoke about how men should treat women when they date the second week. That brings us to sex this week. There is so much unavoidable pain in life; why create unnecessary pain? It is possible, so listen carefully! In our society, we are taught, and many largely believe and will defend that sex is only physical. We explored the Right Person Myth.

One of my favorite classes as a Communication Studies major back in college was a Christian Relationships class where various aspects of relationships—friendship, singleness, dating, marriage, family, etc. I think one of the reasons I find this topic so interesting is because we were created by a relational God who created us for connection , and relationships are so incredibly vital to each of our lives in one way or another. This makes me want to continually grow in learning how to do them well.
